  • 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

  •
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1.

    Season the Steak

Add the sliced steak to a bowl with avocado oil, salt, pepper, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, and lime juice. Toss until fully coated.

  2.

  3.

    Make the Crema

In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt or sour cream with lime juice, grated garlic, cilantro, and salt. Set aside.

  4.

  5.

    Char the Peppers

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced peppers and cook until softened with dark, charred edges. Remove from the pan.

Add shredded lettuce to each bowl. Top with charred peppers, crispy steak, avocado, pico de gallo, cheese, and cilantro.

Mood to Match the Food

This is the bowl for when you want dinner to feel loud, colorful, and satisfying. It is fresh, crunchy, creamy, spicy, and filling without being heavy.

Good Carb Note

The lettuce, peppers, pico, avocado, and steak all do different jobs here: volume, fiber, flavor, fat, and protein. That is what makes the bowl satisfying without needing a huge serving of chips or tortillas.
