Thick Greek yogurt whipped with cream cheese and vanilla, strawberries, toasted pecans, chia seeds, and a little dark chocolate.
Serves: 1
A creamy, sweet, high-protein yogurt bowl that tastes like strawberry cheesecake without turning breakfast into dessert for no reason. It is thick, cold, tangy, crunchy, and satisfying.
Cheesecake energy, fat-loss structure.
Ingredients
For the Yogurt Base
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1–2 teaspoons monk fruit, allulose, or sweetener of choice
- Pinch of salt
For the Toppings
- 1/2 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons pecans, toasted and chopped
- 1 square dark chocolate, chopped
- Optional: lemon zest
Instructions
Whip the Base
Add Greek yogurt, softened cream cheese, vanilla, sweetener, and salt to a bowl. Mix until smooth, thick, and creamy.
Prep the Strawberries
Slice the strawberries. If you want them softer and juicier, let them sit for 3–5 minutes with a tiny pinch of sweetener.
Toast the Pecans
Add pecans to a dry skillet over low heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring often, until fragrant. Let them cool slightly.
Build the Bowl
Spoon the yogurt base into a bowl. Add strawberries, chia seeds, toasted pecans, and chopped dark chocolate over the top.
Finish
Add lemon zest if using. Serve cold and eat immediately, or chill for 10 minutes if you want it extra thick.
Mood to Match the Food
This is for when you want something sweet, pretty, and satisfying without feeling like you need to start your day over. It feels like a treat, but it is built around protein, fiber, and healthy fats.
Good Carb Note
The Greek yogurt gives the bowl its protein. The chia seeds and strawberries add fiber. The pecans and dark chocolate make it feel finished, not like diet food pretending to be dessert.
